Minutes:

Almoners and Governors considered the Independent Schools Inspectorate Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection Report for Christ’s Hospital School (November 2018) and the following points were made.

 

·         In response to a question, the Partnerships Manager noted that the School was undertaking a 10-15-year renovation programme of its Boarding accommodation.

 

·         In response to a question, the Head of Marketing agreed to provide an update at the Committee’s April 2019 meeting on the School’s work to encourage girls’ participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Governors would also be invited to the School’s Speech Day in May 2019, and a Committee Visit could be convened in September 2019.

 

RESOLVED, that the Independent Schools Inspectorate Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection Report for Christ’s Hospital School (November 2018) be received.
