RESOLVED – That the public minutes and non-public summary of the meeting held on 3 November 2017 be approved as a correct record.

Matters Arising

Debtors’ Act

The Chairman advised that further to the query raised at the November 2017 City Side meeting as to whether the Committee was fulfilling its obligation in assisting those in debtors’ prisons; confirmation had been received from the Comptroller and City Solicitor that the Debtors’ Act of 1869 rendered this element of the bequest and the Committee’s responsibility in this area redundant.
