Alleged breach of the Members' Code of Conduct (4/18)

Minutes:

The Sub Committee considered the details of a complaint, made by a resident against two elected members, under the provisions of the Code of Conduct and associated complaints procedure.

In conclusion, and after taking into account all relevant issues, Members considered that the details of the complaint had not provided sufficient evidence for the Sub Committee to conclude that a breach of the Code of Conduct had taken place, and therefore that no further action be taken in relation to the complaint. The Sub Committee noted that as part of its decision on the previous complaint above a request would be made to the Chief Commoner and the relevant Alderman, in consultation with all Ward members, to look into what steps could be taken to improve working relationships between members in the Ward.
