The City of London protects and manages, by charitable trust, almost 11,000 acres of open spaces within and around the capital for the benefit of local communities and visitors.West Wickham Common, part of the seven ‘City Commons’,  is a 26 acre public open space located in the London Borough of Bromley. It forms part of a larger area of open countryside, within the London green belt, that links London with the wider countryside of Surrey and Kent. The West Wickham Common Consultative Committee provides a forum for local residents and users to comment upon the management of both West Wickham Common and neighbouring Spring Park, a 50 acre public open space to the west.
