of the several Livery Companies requiring the attendance of the Livery on 26th June

next for the election of Sheriffs and other Officers for the year ensuing and on 29th

September next, for the election of a Lord Mayor of this City, for the year ensuing,

was read, agreed to and ordered to be issued.

Resolved:- That The Very Reverend Dr Robert Willis, be requested to preach before this Court and the Governors of the several hospitals of this City, at the Guild Church of St Lawrence Jewry on Thursday, 9th March 2023 or, in the event that building work at St Lawrence Jewry is not complete by this time, at another church of the Lord Mayor’s choosing.

 

Also that the Vicar of St Lawrence Jewry or other Vicar of the Lord Mayor’s choosing be requested to –

 

(a)        grant permission for the use of St Lawrence Jewry church or other church of the Lord Mayor’s choosing,

 

(b)        settle the details of the service,

 

(c)        brief the Very Reverend Dr Willis, and

 

(d)        conduct the service.
