Guildhall Art Gallery and Guildhall Yard PDF 111 KB Joint report of the Director of Culture, Heritage & Libraries and the Director of Public Relations (copy attached). Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a joint report of Director Culture, Heritage and Libraries and the Director of Public Relations setting out the activities undertaken in the past year to encourage greater visitor footfall to both the Guildhall Art Gallery and the Guildhall Yard.
The Town Clerk referred to the proposals for displaying the Magna Carta and stated that it would be a good demonstration of the City Corporation’s heritage and culture. He reminded Members that the proposals for having the Magna Carta on display, together with an event to mark the forthcoming anniversary 800th anniversary in 2015, was supported at a recent informal meeting of the Sub-Committee.
RESOLVED - that the report be received and its content noted.

Allocation of Grants from Transport for London 2012/13 PDF 323 KB Report of the Director of the Built Environment (copy attached). Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a joint report of Director of the Built Environment setting out the proposals for utilising two grants received from Transport for London for 2012/13 to implement the Mayor’s Transport Strategy totalling £932,000.
