The Chairman welcomed Ann Holmes to her first meeting of the Committee. He paid tribute to the contribution of Deputy Michael Welbank MBE during the 7 years he had served on the committee, including tenures as Chairman and Deputy Chairman. He added that, as a local resident, Deputy Welbank had been able to bring a unique insight to the work of the Committee. The Chairman wished Deputy Welbank well, noting he was now the Chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee.
