Wendy Hyde

Wendy’s recent work has been focussed on the Culture & Heritage sector & she is the immediate Past Chair of that Committee. Before joining Common Council she had spent the majority of her career at the Bank of England, with the last 10 years as Agent for Greater London, reporting to the Monetary Policy Committee on economic conditions as seen by businesses in the region. Prior to that, as a banking regulator, she worked with a range of British & foreign institutions in London.

She is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of World Traders & a member of Bishopsgate Ward Club.
