To elect a Chairman in accordance with Standing Order 29.

Minutes:

The Committee proceeded to elect a Chairman in accordance with Standing Order No.29. The Town Clerk read a list of Members eligible to stand and Deputy Dr Giles Shilson, being the only Member who expressed his willingness to serve, was duly elected as Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

 

The Chairman welcomed Chris Hayward, Deputy Edward Lord and Nick Bensted-Smith to the Committee, and thanked outgoing Members Brian Harris, Anthony Eskenzi and Ian Seaton for their service.

Members were invited to elect a Chairman in accordance with Standing Order 29. A list of Members eligible to stand was read out and Deputy Alastair Moss being the only Member indicating his willingness to serve was declared to have been elected for the ensuing year.

Minutes:

The Committee proceeded to elect a Chairman in accordance with Standing Order No.29. The Town Clerk read a list of Members eligible to stand and Alderman Alison Gowman, being the only Member who expressed her willingness to serve, was duly elected as Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

 

The Chairman took the opportunity to thank outgoing Members of the Committee, Alderman Vincent Keaveny Stuart Fraser and Stanley Ginsburg, and welcomed new Members Alderman Alastair King and (in his absence) Deputy Dr Giles Shilson. She welcomed back Jenny Field, Deputy Chief Grants Officer, and thanked outgoing Deputy Chairman Ian Seaton for his year in office.
