To receive the terms of reference of the Sub-Committee.

RESOLVED – That Members noted the terms of reference.

It was mentioned that the wording of “(have the power to act)” is unclear, as it is the main board’s duty, rather than the Reference Sub Committee’s to make decisions regarding fee increases.  The Town Clerk informed the Members that this has been noted to be reconsidered in June during the annual review of Committee Terms of Reference.

To approve the public minutes and non-public summary of the meeting held on 12 July 2016.

RESOLVED – That Members approved the public minutes of the previous meeting as an accurate record.

Reference Sub Committees have been listed for each term for 2018 -19 and these dates and times are to be circulated by the Town Clerk.

MOTION - That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act.

RESOLVED - That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the remaining items on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of the Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

To approve the non-public minutes of the previous meeting held on 12 July 2016.

RESOLVED – That Members approved the non-public minutes of the previous meeting as an accurate record.
