Report of the Executive Director, Community and Children’s Services.

The Sub Committee received a report of the Executive Director, Community and Children’s Services in respect of the Pan London Care Leavers Compact, which provides a framework for developing consistency, breadth and quality in the support offered to City of London care leavers.

RESOLVED, that:

The progress made on the six commitments, which all London Local Authorities have been invited to sign up to, be noted.

The Community and Children’s Services Committee be recommended to sign up to the six commitment set out in the Compact, together with an additional policy to adopt ‘Care Experience’ as a protected characteristic.
