Statutory Instruments
The Non-Domestic Rating (Rates Retention and Levy and Safety Net) (Amendment) and (Levy Account: Basis of Distribution) Regulations 2019 S.I. No. 709 The Regulations make changes to the operation of the business rates retention scheme to provide for the retention of 75% of business rates. The Regulations apply to the Court of Common Council in its capacity as a local authority.
A considerable number of statutory instruments have been made which relate to the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union. These SIs make technical changes to update English law as a consequence of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. Subject matters include financial services, data protection, agriculture, animal products, food and customs. |
