Report of the Director of the Built Environment.

The Committee received a report of the Director of the Built Environment updating Members on changes in the Building Regulations that will take effect on 21^st December 2018, which are the first following the fire at Grenfell Tower on 14^th June 2017.

In response to questions, the District Surveyor reported that he was aware of two private residential blocks in the City that had failed the fire test. One was being addressed by Housing and the other was a Hotel that was in the process of being rectified.
