Graeme has worked in information risk and cybersecurity since starting his City career in 1994 for S.G.Warburg, going on to work for Schroders, Newton Investment Management, and The Bank of New York Mellon.  He currently works for Fidelity International, based next to St. Paul's Cathedral, where he heads a second-line Technology Risk Oversight team, part of Non-financial Risk Oversight. His focus has always been to help organisations manage technology and information risk and allowing businesses to make informed and balanced commercial decisions.

 

Born close to Epping Forest in Essex where he still lives, Graeme has commuted into the City on the Central Line for much of his adult life, having graduated from what is now Bayes Business School, part of City, University of London.

As a Councilman, and in addition to working for Ward, he has mainly focused his efforts in the environment, serving as Chairman of Open Space and City Gardens, of West Ham Park, and currently of Epping Forest & Commons committees.  In addition, he has used his professional skills and knowledge serving on the Audit & Risk Management, Finance and Economic & Cyber Crime committees.

 

Graeme is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, also based in Farringdon Within.
