Nick Bensted-Smith read Economics, Politics and Law before starting a City career with stockbrokers Scrimgeour Vickers. He was a partner of Sarasin & Partners LLP where he worked for 24 years, retiring as Deputy Chairman of the Partnership. Nick’s focus was initially on managing UK equities and multi-asset funds before concentrating on managing a number of the partnership’s larger charity and pension fund clients. Nick is a Justice of the Peace, sitting in Kent and also a school governor. He is the Upper Warden of the Worshipful Company of Loriners, a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths’ Company and was President of the Ward Club of Cheap in 2022.
