Sir Michael Snyder, Deputy

Michael Snyder has been a member of the Court of Common Council of the City of London since 1986. He is Chairman of the City of London School for Girls and has previously served as Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee from 2003 to April 2008. Michael is a former Chairman of both the City of London’s Finance Committee and its Barbican Estate Committee. Having previously chaired the Chancellor’s Professional Services Competitiveness Group and served as a member of the Chancellors High Level Group on Financial Services, he is currently the Chairman of the Government’s Professional and Business Services Group. Michael lead the sponsorship of three Academies for the City of London, and is a Governor of City of London School for Girls and is Vice Chairman of Brentwood School in Essex. Michael Snyder is the Senior Partner of Kingston Smith, top 20 firm of accountants.
