Minutes:

Members received a report of the Director of Community and Children’s Services in respect of the Housing Neighbourhood Patrol Service.

Members noted that intelligence and statisics prove that the City is generally a very safe place but it is within the remit of this group to ensure public perception remains positive.

The maintenance of the City as a safe place enables the City of London Police to focus on emerging and key areas of crime. The Police particularly welcomed the interventions as set out in the report.  Members noted that, whilst future funding might be challenging, the positive outcomes should be promoted when making a business case.
