With the permission of the Lord Mayor, both Alderman Luder and Aldermen Hailes made statements with regard to the General Purposes Committee of Aldermen meeting that had taken place on 30 March 2022 and comments that they had both made here.
Within his statement, Alderman Luder clarified that he had not been making any comment about the content of the email sent by Mr Harrower to the Court on 24 March 2022 and that he did not intend his comment to refer to Mr Harrower or any specific email.
Alderman Hailes made it clear that he wished to publicly retract any statement, inference or impression that there was anything inappropriate as to process regarding the email sent by Mr Harrower to the Court on 24 March 2022. |
