Description

The Mitchell City of London Charity & Educational Foundation make awards in the following main categories:

  • Bursaries for the two years of sixth form study
  • Grants for pupils aged 11 - 16 who are from a lone parent household
  • Pensions 
  • A bursary at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital
  • A bursary at the City University, London

Young people who are beneficiaries must either be attending a City school (and because of their connection with the City this includes Christ's Hospital School, City of London Freemen's School and King Edward's School Witley) or have a parent who has lived or worked in the City of London for at least five years.

 

Pensioners must have lived or worked in the City of London for at least five years and be of state pensionable age.
