Antony Geoffrey Manchester

Antony Manchester is Managing Director for UK public policy at BlackRock and sits on the IRSG Board; TheCityUK's EU and Public Affairs groups, and Investment Association committees.

Formerly Antony was Financial Counsellor and Head of the Economic, Financial and Tax department of the UK Permanent Representation in Brussels, and has held several other Government roles, including head of EU Financial Services and City competitiveness at HM Treasury, leading EU Internal Market at Cabinet Office, and First Secretary Competition, Telecoms and Company Law during a previous Brussels stint.

Antony lives in Faversham with his family. He holds a History degree from Durham.
