Stuart Peter James Thompson

Born in Enfield Middlesex, Stuart has worked for over 40 years in the City. Now retired from managing a large and thriving food business in Smithfield Market ,trading in poultry game and other perishable foods, he developed an international business with a number of European nations including France, Denmark, the Netherlands and more recently Poland .He was awarded the Chevalier du Merit de Agricole for his services to agriculture. He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Butchers and was Master during 2016-17.His interests include the Medieval history, the countryside, cycling and classic cars. He is currently Churchwarden of a Medieval church near to where he lives in East Sussex. He is married with four children and 4 grandchildren.
