Mark Raymond Peter Henry Delano Wheatley

Mark was elected to represent the Ward of Dowgate in March 2013. He was born and brought up in Africa and took his secondary schooling in Lancashire before reading for a degree in History and Politics at Edinburgh University.

He relocated to London in 1989 to work as a banker in the City before moving into recruitment and then into a City-based consultancy in the mid 90’s. In 2022, he established his own headhunting and advisory business. In 2024 he also established an events business serving the space sector.

He is a Liveryman of the Drapers’ Company and lives in South East London with his family.
