Alison Gowman (Alderman)

Alison Gowman is a consultant at DLA Piper UK LLP following her City career as a senior partner specialising in real estate. She has worked on investment and development transactions with specialisations in insolvency and waste management working with many international businesses entering the UK market.  She has served on numerous City committees and is currently Deputy Chair of the City Bridge Trust and Deputy Chair of the Green Finance Institute. She is the Co-Chair of the COP26 Finance Taskforce. She is a Governor of the Museum of London as well as member of the City of London Police Committee (Chair of its Professional Standards and Integrity Subcommittee). She is a Director of the Museum of London Archaeology and Chair of the Executive Committee of the London Road Safety Council as well as trustee of Trust for London.
