Elected to the Court of Aldermen in 2022, Christopher is lifelong Londoner who spent his career in financial services. He was elected to ensure that the voices of City residents are heard clearly within Guildhall.
Christopher is passionate about the Barbican Estate, where he lives, and has spent years advocating on behalf of residents. He was Chair of the Barbican Residents’ Consultation Committee 2018-2022; is a member of the Barbican Association (past Honorary Secretary and Elected Member) and various working parties. He is also school governor, a charity trustee and President of the Aldersgate Ward Club.
Christopher is a signatory to the City of London Corporation Members’ Diversity Charter.
