Additional Information
Steve is a social worker and has a MBA .
He worked at director level in local government for 15 years and then set up and ran a successful business helping authorities worldwide improve their child protection services. For this he was awarded an OBE in 2014.
He now runs a small community interest company working with mainly Pakistani and Bangladeshi children in Luton promoting their sense of place.
He is interested in education, social care and the focus of the Corporation’s charity and grant giving work.
Primarily he believes that the voice of residents should be more influential within the work of the Corporation.
