Tessa Marchington is a pianist and entrepreneur. She studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Royal Academy of Music and has since forged a career bringing together the worlds of arts & business, very focused in the City of London. In 2008, Tessa founded ‘Music in Offices', bringing music participation into the culture of companies working with many City companies including the Bank of England, Linklaters, Macquarie, LSEG & Aviva. She is also co-founder of the Surrey Hills International Music Festival (Director 2010-2020), has produced a variety of cultural projects including the Arts, Health & Wellbeing Symposium in Setubal, Portugal, City of Women & the City Festival of Music, Invention & Knowledge. Tessa is a member of the Haberdashers Livery Company. She is a trustee for British Youth Opera and sits on the board of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She also acts as an advisor for Publica’s Right to the City.
