Deputy Peter Dunphy was elected to the Corporation of the City of London in 2009 for the ward of Cornhill. He is currently the Chief Commoner of the City of London, a role dating back to 1444. Peter has worked in the City since 1989 in recruitment, insurance and investment. He founded Darwin Rhodes which became the largest insurance recruiter globally and was CEO until sale of the business in 2011. Peter has also worked as a private equity investment director, in business sales and currently as NED of staffing and media companies. He is also an accomplished film producer leading the production of 16 documentary and fiction feature films to date.
